The Art Center of National Formosa University organized a series of events titled “Winter Healing Station”. On Wednesday, December 10, the “Christmas Picnic Student Performances” were held on the main lawn of the First Teaching Area, inviting young students to enjoy a picnic under the warm winter sunshine while listening to music and watching dance performances presented by student clubs. The event also featured a Christmas Crystal Creation Workshop and a free market, combining art, aesthetics, and sustainable action to create the campus’s most gentle and heartwarming festive scene.

Mr. Chuan-Pin Wu, General Manager of Yuen Shun Food Co., Ltd., was also present to share in the musical celebration. During the event, NFU President Shinn-Liang Chang presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Wu on behalf of the university, thanking Yuen Shun Food for supporting NFU’s public welfare initiatives and jointly donating year-end supplies to the Yunlin Family Support Center, working together to care for local families.

President Shinn-Liang Chang remarked that Christmas is a festival of love and sharing, encouraging students to share resources and joy with those around them to help make society a better place. He also expressed gratitude for Yuen Shun Food’s corporate philanthropy and commitment to public welfare, viewing it as another form of sharing, and wished the young students continued growth and the lasting power to share.

This performance event featured the Wind Band Club, Hip-Hop Dance Club, Hip-Hop Research Club, and the Popular Music Club of National Chiayi University. Students picnicked on the grass and moved along with the music. Christmas food trucks on site offered hot dogs, while the Art Center freshly prepared cotton candy and popcorn, creating a sweet and warm winter atmosphere.

The “Christmas Crystal Creation Workshop” used natural crystal stones as materials, guiding students to learn about crystal formation principles and to personally break open the outer shells of raw stones. The activity combined educational value with stress relief. When students revealed crystal cavities or uniquely shaped crystals, their amazed reactions filled the scene with fun and excitement. Meanwhile, the “Zero-Waste Free Market”, hosted by faculty and students as stall owners, encouraged the sharing and redistribution of unused items. In addition to promoting resource circulation and sustainability, it also showcased diverse expressions of “love and sharing” during the festive season.

From Wednesday, December 3, to Friday, December 12, NFU presented the Christmas-themed series “I LOVE HU U: Winter Healing Station”, featuring a brass concert, sunset yoga, music performances, workshops, and the finale “Christmas-Themed Immersive Exploration”. Through artistic experiences, the series offered faculty and students a unique festive celebration while creating a soothing and healing winter atmosphere across campus.
