Job Responsibilities

1. Plan and implement campus safety education and multi-hazard drill programs.

2. Draft and revise campus safety procedures for various incidents.

3. Manage equipment for the Campus Safety Center and duty rooms (including the Student Safety Counseling Group leader).

4. Prepare the Campus Safety Center duty roster.

5. Handle major campus safety notifications and emergency meetings.

6. Liaise with external police agencies and handle external campus safety matters.

7. Hold annual review meetings for campus safety maintenance performance.

8. Participate in duty shifts at the Campus Safety Center.

9. Provide student life counseling.

10. Handle temporary assignments as requested.

11. Work rotation may be implemented within the Student Affairs Office; job duties of staff may be periodically adjusted.

Working Hours

In addition to regular office hours, must participate in duty shifts: Day shift 08:00–20:00, Night shift 20:00–08:00 next day.

Qualifications

1. University graduate.

2. Possession of Ministry of Education campus safety personnel training certificate preferred (if not, may obtain certificate after hire via in-service training planned by the Ministry).

3. Strong communication skills.

4. Enthusiastic about service.

5. Proficient in office software.

6. Highly responsible, altruistic, of good character, with no negative records or habits.

7. Previous student counseling experience preferred.

8. Applicants with disabilities or indigenous status preferred.

9. Must not be spouse or within three degrees of kinship of the university president or hiring unit supervisors.

Remarks:

1. This is a non-regular university-hired position. Salary is NT$34,583 for bachelor’s degree holders. Personnel management follows the university’s regulations for contract staff.
