1.According to the renewed bilateral science and technology cooperation memorandum signed between NSTC and the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) on July 4, 2024, the referenced program is jointly soliciting proposals. The application guidelines are attached (or available on the NSTC website under the “Call for Proposals” section).

2.The program is planned for a 5-year period, tentatively starting on August 1, 2026. After jointly developing the project content, the Taiwanese and Swedish PIs must submit proposals separately to NSTC and SSF within the application deadline for approval.

4. Application Deadline: Online applications will be accepted until January 28, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. After completing and uploading the proposal to the application system, PIs should contact the Office of International Affairs (ext. 5192) to ensure timely submission. PIs are advised to allow 14 working days for the administrative processing at the receiving institutions to avoid any delays affecting eligibility.
