1.According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and INCa, NSTC will support Taiwanese researchers to participate in the French PLBIO program. The collaboration focuses on original knowledge or cutting-edge technology research related to cancer (which may include cognitive science); however, translational research, clinical trials, and epidemiology/public health research are excluded.

2.The tentative project start date is January 1, 2027. The application process is divided into two stages: "Letter of Intent" and "Full Proposal." In the first stage, the French project principal investigator (PI), together with the Taiwanese PI, will submit the Letter of Intent via the INCa online system. After preliminary review by INCa, NSTC will invite the Taiwanese PIs whose Letters of Intent passed the first stage to submit the full proposal to NSTC. The French PIs will submit the full proposal to INCa. Relevant procedures follow INCa’s official announcements (see attachments).
