Announcement: MOE YDA Youth 10 Billion Overseas Dream Fund Program (115 Year First Round Guidelines Online); Please Promote

1.The program aims to expand international connections and exchanges, guiding youth in diverse creative actions, allowing Taiwanese youth to showcase creativity on the global stage and enhance Taiwan’s international competitiveness.

2.The first batch of the 115th-year program offers over 100 opportunities, reaching up to 800 participants. The following fully subsidized programs, which have demonstrated effective and innovative outcomes, are open for student registration:

(a)Portland, USA Program (G-3-5 Start UP! Entrepreneurs): 18 youth for 16 days, engaging with social enterprises and sustainability initiatives to strengthen innovative thinking and entrepreneurial skills.

(b)Tokyo, Japan Program (G-3-8 Discovering New Worlds): 5 youth for 14 days, learning about Japanese government entrepreneurship support measures, exploring practices supporting female entrepreneurship, and gaining first-hand startup experience.

(c)Tokyo, Japan Program (G-3-9 Pitch Up! Japan): 2 youth for 28 days, understanding the core operations of the Japanese professional baseball league, visiting stadiums, and promoting Taiwan-Japan baseball collaboration.

(d)Paris, France Program (G-2-3 Moving Forward in Paris – Politics in Action): 10 youth for 17 days, familiarizing with French public governance, visiting the National Assembly and Senate, and observing the European Parliament in Brussels.

(e)Paris, France Program (G-3-7 Paris Startup Dreamers): 10 youth for 16 days, exploring European tech innovation, visiting startup incubators, and attending VIVA Tech Expo for global trends.

(f)Paris, France Program (G-5-10 Art & Music Exchange): 10 youth for 16 days, learning about the role of arts and music in public cultural design, and participating in “Nuit Blanche” to observe urban art enhancing public experiences.

(g)Paris, France Program (G-8-14 Fragrance, Culture & Sustainability Journey): 10 youth for 17 days, exploring the flower and fragrance industry and its sustainable transformation, learning perfumery and blending techniques, from production to sales.

(h)Paris, France Program (G-8-15 Moving into a New Future): 10 youth for 16 days, interacting with local sports organizations, understanding city strategies for hosting international events (e.g., Urban Sports Summit, Extreme Sports Festival).

(i)Paris, France Program (G-9-2 Digital Resilience × Youth Action): 10 youth for 16 days, engaging with the latest European cybersecurity policies and gaining practical insights through interaction with professional units.

(j)Lyon, France Program (G-3-6 European “Crystal” Team): 10 youth for 16 days, understanding European semiconductor technology development, participating in the Leti Innovation Forum, and visiting related tech companies for in-depth exchanges.

(k)Lyon, France Program (G-5-5 Dreaming with France in Arts): 10 youth for 16 days, learning digital arts and multimedia applications, visiting film, animation, and immersive design units, and participating in international animation pitch sessions.

3.These programs are suitable for youth aged 18–30. All necessary costs including airfare, meetings/activities/visits, living expenses, and insurance are fully subsidized. Applicants’ language skills and academic qualifications must comply with the program guidelines (see attachment). Schools are encouraged to announce this opportunity and promote eligible students’ participation.
