1.This call for proposals is jointly issued under the bilateral science and technology cooperation agreement signed between the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and Germany's DFG.

2.Application proposals must be jointly prepared by the principal investigators from both sides and submitted separately to NSTC and DFG. If either side does not receive the application, the collaboration cannot proceed.

3.Selected projects will be funded as bilateral project grants under the agreement, with an expected start date of January 1, 2027, and a standard duration of three years. Applications not selected for funding are not eligible for appeal.

6.The application deadline is January 21, 2026, via the online submission system. Late submissions will not be accepted. After uploading the proposal, the principal investigator should contact the Office of International Affairs (ext. 5192) to ensure submission before the deadline. Please allow 14 working days for the host institution to complete administrative processing to avoid affecting your application rights.
