1.The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and Austria's FWF signed a bilateral science and technology cooperation memorandum in 1989. They are jointly inviting applications for the referenced program. Application guidelines can be found in the attached document or on the NSTC website under the "Call for Proposals" section.
2.The project duration is generally 2–4 years, expected to start on January 1, 2027. After jointly developing the project content, the project leaders from Taiwan and Austria must submit applications separately to the NSTC and Austria's FWF by the application deadline for the project to be approved.

4. Application deadline: Applications are accepted online until January 8, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. After completing and uploading the project proposal to the application system, project leaders should contact the International Affairs Office (ext. 5192) to ensure the submission reaches the office before the deadline. Project leaders should account for the 14 working days required by the receiving institution for administrative processing to avoid missing the deadline.
