1.This call for proposals is based on the bilateral science and technology cooperation memorandum signed between the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and Lithuania’s Research Council (LMT).

2.The project application must be jointly prepared by the principal investigators from both sides and submitted separately to NSTC and LMT. If either side does not receive the application, the collaborative project cannot be established.

3.Selected projects will receive funding as bilateral, project-based grants, with the planned execution starting on October 1, 2026, and a duration of two years. Applications not selected for funding will not be eligible for appeal.

6.Application deadline: Online submissions will be accepted until January 29, 2026. Late applications will not be considered. After the principal investigator completes and uploads the project proposal to the application system, please contact the Office of International Affairs (ext. 5192) to ensure the submission reaches the reviewing body before the deadline. Principal investigators should account for 14 working days for administrative processing at the receiving institution to avoid missing the deadline and affecting eligibility.
