2.The Taiwan-side Principal Investigator must meet the qualifications for Principal and Co-Principal Investigators as stipulated in Article 3 of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) regulations for sponsored research projects.

3.Applications approved by the EU review may, according to the “Participation in EU Multinational Research and Innovation Projects” program (see attachment), be submitted online to the NSTC as “Joint Call” projects under the Bilateral Agreement International Cooperation Program.

4.The maximum number of Bilateral Agreement International Cooperation projects a Principal Investigator may execute in the same year is two.

5.The program funding is earmarked for this specific purpose, with a maximum subsidy of NT$3,000,000 per year. Applications not awarded funding will not be reconsidered.

7. Application deadline: Online applications will be accepted until January 7, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. After uploading the proposal to the system, Principal Investigators should contact the Office of International Affairs (ext. 5192) to ensure submission before the deadline. Please allow 14 working days for the host institution to process administrative procedures to avoid affecting your application.
