Announcement: 2026 Taiwan-Germany (NSTC-DAAD) Youth Summer Camp Program Open for Applications (Deadline Jan 19, 2026)

1.This program is conducted in accordance with the "Youth Summer Camp Cooperation Memorandum" signed between the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

2.The program offers young students from both sides the opportunity to participate in summer study programs at universities or research institutions in the partner country. Taiwanese applicants to Germany must be enrolled in non-humanities or social sciences graduate programs (Master’s or Ph.D.) and be available to study in Germany during the summer of 2026 (July to September).

3.This call for applications is also announced on the NSTC website. Interested applicants should submit their applications online according to the guidelines (see attachment). The recommending institutions should prepare and submit two copies of the application roster to NSTC before the specified deadline to proceed with subsequent review procedures.

5.Application deadline: Applications will be accepted online until January 19, 2026. Late applications will not be considered. After completing and uploading the application form to the system, the principal investigator should contact the Office of International Affairs (ext. 5192) to ensure submission before the deadline. Please allow sufficient time for the applicant institution to process administrative procedures (14 working days) to avoid delays affecting eligibility.
